Posh is the upcoming, big-screen adaptation of Laura Wade’s critically acclaimed play. A lot of British talent can be seen in this film, with the likes of Max Irons (The Host), Douglas Booth (Noah), and also Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games.)
It follows the life of two fresh-faced first year students – Miles (Irons) and Alistair (Claflin) – as they strive to be accepted amongst the privileged elite of Oxford University, the entire film is set over the course of a single evening.
The above elite members of the Riot Club – a prestigious group, bear an uncanny resemblance to the infamous Bullingdon Club of which Prime Minister David Cameron and Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, were both a part during their student days.
Directed by Lone Scherfig (One Day, An Education) and adapted by Wade from her original play (staged at both the Royal Court and in London’s West End), Posh will be released in UK cinemas on 19 September.
