Just under an hour ago, the nation and the world, watched as Andy Murray battled to reach the finals, against Jerzy Janowicz, Polish tennis player who’s ranked 24th in the world.
We cheered, we feared and we jeered, throughout this match and in the end Andy Murray, with the support of the fans, family and girlfriend, won the game and is now through to the finals.
He gave it his utmost best, and played superbly on the court showing off his variety of skills and his excellent speed.
Although after beating Janowicz at 2 sets, Jerzy decided that he wanted the roof to be closed as he found it too dark. This was at around 8:45pm, according to Andy he’d been complaining for the past 40 mins about it. Furious though he was, Andy shrugged it off, freshened up and came back stronger than ever.
After all that deal with the roof, it didn’t really matter or have much of an effect on Andy’s playing, in fact, you can say it made him better.
However, the finals are set to be even more challenging for Andy, as he is having to play head to head against the world’s number 1, Novak Djokovic.
Many congratulations go to Andy for his outstanding efforts, yet he will have to try harder for the finals, which are set to happen on Sunday 7th July, 2:00pm.
Be sure to tune in and support Andy (or Djokovic), whosoever you prefer.

P.S. To be honest, I quite like them both and believe that they’re both marvelous players, yet I’d have to go with Andy, being the same nationality.
